Mechanical CAD Designer (Strong Autodesk Inventor)
Santa Ana, CA
Adecco Engineering & Technical is interviewing for a Mechanical Designer to take on a position in Santa Ana, CA. The Mechanical Designer will be responsible for utilizing Autodesk Inventor to develop 3D models of components, assemblies, and equipment 3D modeling. The Mechanical Designer will also be responsible for ensuring that product designs are clear and contain what is required to fabricate the equipment. A designer detailer approach is preferred. The ideal candidate will have working knowledge of Autodesk Inventor version 2012. Qualified candidate will possess the following abilities:
Autodesk Inventor 3D part and assembly modeling, have an understanding of Inventor routed system. Create 3D models using structural members, proficient in version 2012 or later. Also, have an understanding of Vault.
Good understanding of Autodesk Inventor and Autocad concepts, and methodologies.
Experiences in heavy industry equipment designs are a plus.
Familiar with fabrication methods, welding, assembly, and installation of steel structures.
Must have basic knowledge of ANSI drawing standards, algebra, and geometry
Have knowledge of ASTM Standards and Welding practices
Engineering office in the industrial furnace industry seeking to fill a designer position; this
position will require the working knowledge of Autodesk Inventor, the location for this position
Pay 20-27hour, Contract to hire, DOE
