Adecco Medical & Science l, a division of the world leader in the recruitment of engineering and sciene, medical and hospital professionals, has an immediate opening for a Clinical SAS Programmer on a 6 month contract opportunity with a leading pharmaceutical company located in Pleasanton, CA. In this position candidates will be Responsible for planning, writing and executing statistical programs designed to analyze data from the relational database.

Produces tables, listings and figures.
Assesses data accuracy and consistency.
Acts as programmer on project team.
Consults in the design and development of clinical trials, protocols and case report forms.
Validates, documents and archives single-use programs.


Job Requirements:
Must have extensive knowledge of Base SAS, SAS/STAT, SAS macros, and SAS/GRAPH.
BS and at least 4 years analyzing scientific data using SAS or MS and at least 3 years analyzing scientific data using SAS.
Pharmaceutical or Device experience preferred.
Familiarity with common statistical analyses
Strong verbal and written communication skills - required - will be on a clinical team with a submission deadline


JOB REQUIREMENTS: 3 years SAS programming/validation
Education: BS Degree required
Specific Experience:

SAS programmer with skills as a clinical programmer and good at validation of SAS code.
Skills as a statistical programmer (creating analysis datasets and TLFs) would be an asset as well.
The clinical programming skills will be necessary because we will be processing large amounts of data (primarily electronic instrument/lab data) in the coming months Knowledge of CDISC is not necessary but would be nice to have
