Adecco Engineering and Technical, a division of the world leader in the recruitment of engineering and information technology professionals, has an immediate opening for a Data Architect with aPrestigiousUniversityinLos Angeles.

Working as a member of the IT Services' Information & Data Strategy Team, the Data Warehouse Architect is responsible for the analysis and design of data marts for the Campus Data Warehouse.

The ideal candidate will have hands on experience with dimensional data modeling and design, following the Kimball Star Schema approach.
Major responsibilities include engagement of stakeholders and customers to gather requirements for the design and development of data models and design specifications using star schema techniques
Analyze and create Extract-Transform-Load (ETL) specifications
Collaborate with Business Intelligence Analysts, conduct system performance analysis and problem resolution.
Evaluate and analyze emerging technologies, solutions, methods and best practices to continuously improve the delivery of Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence Solutions.
