Software Engineer

Responsible for working on highly technical, complex projects; research and recommend future technical needs; participate in business meetings to identify and understand the company's goals and objectives in order to develop a system that will meet the company's current and future business needs; define project requirements by meeting with management and end users to gain a thorough understanding of project or project task needs, providing leadership and technical direction during all stages of the project; provide quality customer service to meet customer expectations and improve level of service being provided; provide quality intermediate technical level deliverables; maintain necessary design and testing documentation.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education
Bachelor's degree in computer science. Equivalent work experience in a similar position may be substituted for educational requirements

Experience
Minimum 3 years increasingly responsible programming experience, writing detailed program designs for medium to large sized projects preferred.

Required Technical Skills

Microsoft .NET Knowledge/Experience (assemblies, GAC, standard libraries/API)
Visual Studio 2010 (solutions, projects, references/dependencies, building, cleaning, deployment, debugging)
C#.NET (syntax, operators, program control and flow, objects/classes/OO concepts, delegates and events, error handling)
Microsoft SQL Server 2005/2008 (queries, T-SQL scripts, stored procedures, execution plans, performance tuning)
ASP.NET 2.0 (setup and use with Visual Studio, deployment, WebForms, Master Pages, personalization, configuration and localization)
Client Side Technologies (HTML, JavaScript, CSS)
XML (syntax, programming object model)


Preferred Technical Skills

Microsoft SQL Server 2005/2008 Analysis Services (Star Schema, Cubes, Dimensions, Facts, Aggregations, XMLA)
Experience with: Spring.NET Framework, MapInfo/MapXtreme, Dundas Charts, Telerik (with ASP.NET)
Wireless Telecommunications Business Domain Knowledge (CDMA, GSM, TDMA, LTE)
Qualcomm GPSOne Platform (TraceFilter2, SnapCell)
