Software Engineer IV
JOB SUMMARY
The Software Engineer IV is a senior-level software developer who creates software products and features for our client. This Software Engineer will work with development teams to design and develop our client’s products and systems using the latest tools and technologies. This individual will demonstrate ownership and enthusiasm over the Software Development craft with a particular focus on developing high quality software.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
The person will interact with other departments and internal users as part of development of our client’s software products and systems
Work with other developers to facilitate knowledge transfer and conduct code reviews; participate in pair programming; participate in technical design reviews and code reviews.
Works with users to resolve technical issues and to provide implementation support.
Contributes to development of company objectives and principles and achieves goals in creative and effective ways;
Leads in the design, development, and maintenance of software feature and may coordinate activities of other software developers.
Performs other duties as assigned or needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or equivalent experience, and 8 years in a relevant field.
5 years development experience using .NET (C#) with Visual Studio or Java with Eclipse
Strong working knowledge and understanding of internet-based application development including XHTML / CSS / JavaScript ( jQuery )
Experience with unit testing frameworks ( NUnit, MSUnit) and test driven development methodologies
Experience transforming XML using XSLT to generate XHTML, HTML, Word, PDF, and other file formats;
Agile development experience (Scrum, XP, or Agile) and agile attitude, eager to learn
Ability to prioritize tasks, to organize, and to coordinate a high volume of information.
Looking for an outgoing team player with good written and verbal communication skills
