Adecco Engineering and Technical has a current Direct Hire opportunity for a WiFi Product Manager with a leading company in Boise, Idaho.
Manage the roadmap, functionality, pricing, profitability and overall success of client’s WiFi router and access point products.
Ownership of products and releases, taking product from market research / business case through execution, launch and lifecycle management.
Develop detailed market and product requirements and manage timely delivery of product releases.
Work closely with engineering and QA teams to drive the products forward.
Subject matter expert on WiFi products, including providing key messages to marketing and sales on product positioning and competitive strategy and plan for the product offering.
Work with cross-functional sales, marketing and operations team to launch and support new products.
Partner with sales on pricing, market development, field solutions, and competitive selling to support customer deals and drive sales.
Prepare and execute on market plans, including pricing, sales training, and marketing.
Work with marketing team to create and deliver all aspects of key outbound marketing collateral including; data sheets written and video, product announcements, newsletters, datasheets, product presentations for business and technical decision makers, positioning, end-of-sales, content for webinars and other outbound marketing events
5+ years of product management and/or product marketing experience
Experience in product management of wireless access points or routers
Proven experience working with teams to deliver commercial products
Knowledge of network management and Internet security, including regulatory standards and requirements such as PCI, HIPPA, FIPS.
Demonstrated ability to work with a cross functional team is essential
Ability to present in front of a technical and non-technical audience
Experience presenting to and interacting with customers
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to a broad range of technical and business audiences
Must be a team player
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science; MS or MBA preferred
