Network Systems Analyst-

Position Description:
The Network Systems Analyst works together with the Operations Systems Support Team to handle the specific information systems and hardware needs at their local operations facilities with an emphasis on desktop and network support.
Responsibilities:
The Network Systems Analyst will have responsibility for supporting, maintaining, and enhancing the following plant information systems and hardware:


Level one PC and LAN support, including new PC setups and initial troubleshooting
Assist Helpdesk and Network teams with level two and three PC and LAN support
PBX, voice mail, and telecommunications, Public Address systems support, cell phones and PDAs
All locally performed tape backups and escalation of backup issues
Assist with all round plant technology support including Shop Floor, Warehouse, Engineering, and Sales
Local hands on technical support for technical and business process changes
Document production system setup and configuration details
Assist with 24 Hour facility support including support for outside IS consultants supporting Laurel
Available by Pager/Cell Phone for off hours support

Required Experience:

At least 2 years in a manufacturing or customer service environment utilizing the listed skills to solve user technical issues with Intel-compatible hardware and software.


Technical

Microsoft Operating Systems - Windows XP
General PC, Network, and Printer Repair/Support
Basic understanding of Local Area Networks
Microsoft Office Suite, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
Microsoft Access
Windows Server experience a plus
Shop floor systems experience a plus
