Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Develop procedures for application system testing and validation to ensure system integrity.
Installs, configures designs, supports and diagnoses application systems.
Analyze user needs and design software requirements within time and cost constraints.
Coordinate application system installations and upgrades.
Monitor, support and diagnose application systems functioning to ensure specifications are met.
Modify existing application systems to correct errors, allow it to adapt to new hardware, or to improve its performance.
Prepare appropriate documentation to record computer specifications, layouts and peripheral equipment modifications.
Perform capacity planning processes to ensure performance is in line with business expectations.
Develop and support business relationships with application teams, project team and business customers.
Strong communication skills

Able to work in a team environment
Proficiency in translating business needs into technology solutions; able to translate technology status and progress in business terms
Strong project delivery skills – able to effectively estimate, plan, monitor, and report status on projects and deliverables
Knowledge and understanding of Human Resource systems and processes
PeopleSoft application administration experience on the following:
ELM 9.x preferred
CRM 9.x preferred
FIN 9.x preferred
Kronos 6.x preferred
Phire Architect 7.x or 8.x preferred
Foglight monitoring preferred
This experience should include:
Installing, configuring and supporting all PeopleTools components including Weblogic, application servers, process schedulers.
Identifying, downloading, applying and supporting upgrades, maintenance packs, bundles and fixes to PeopleSoft applications.
Identifying, downloading, applying and supporting upgrades and patches to PeopleTools.
Creating and supporting third party scripts using shell scripts, Expect scripts and cronjobs. Creating public and private keys and using GPG to encrypt and decrypt files.
Identifying production SQL and working with developers, analysts and DBAs to resolve.
Setting up, configuring and maintaining integration broker gateway, services, service operations, queues, routings and application messages for internal and external integrations.
PeopleSoft code promotions through the use of application designer, Phire Architect or Stat.
