Our client has a need for a Junior-to-Mid Level Applications Software Engineer for a contract position at its facility in Bothell, Wa.

Rate: $20 - $50/hour (DOE)
Duration: 6-12 months (W2 Contract)


Responsibilities:

The primary responsibility of this position is to develop a software application to accelerate transducer optimization for cutting edge ultrasound technologies. The application is GUI based that will run on optimizers PCs and will leverage Windows Socket programming to communicate with ultrasound system to perform optimization tasks.
In this position the candidate will contribute to all aspects of the development cycle, from design through implementation to test and deployment. The successful candidate will have excellent coding and debugging skills in an object oriented environment and a strong desire to contribute


Requirements:

1 to 3 years SW development with focus on user interface.
Proficient in C# / .net / C++ SW Design experience with emphasis on design patterns and Object Oriented Programming.
Knowledge of COM and ATL.
Knowledge of client/server architecture in a Windows operating environment.
Experience or knowledge of Database technologies such as SQL are a plus.
Familiar with source control concepts.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
