Adecco Engineering and Technical, a division of the world leader in the recruitment of engineering and information technology professionals, has an immediate opening for a SQL Server DBA with a one of our clients in the financial industry in Stamford CT

We are looking for a highly motivated, experienced Database Administrator with MS SQL-Server skills.
Candidate needs to be able to operate in both individual and team environment and should be proactive in addressing operational issues. The candidate will work closely with developers in data architecting and modeling.

Required:

4 + years experience as SQL Server DBA
Experience in designing data warehouses and data marts
Experience with data architecture design, implementation, administration, monitoring, tuning, backup, migration and support
Monitoring systems and platforms for availability
Experience in SQL Server Technologies including SSAS, SSRS and SSIS
Working knowledge of XML
Self-motivated with excellent communication skills
Financial industry experience is desired but not required
