Lead Software Engineer

This engineering team is developing a next generation application using a standard Microsoft .Net C# stack, along with a number of third party libraries and open source software. Qualifications:

Demonstrated ability to learn and wisely apply new platforms and technologies
Has internalized the tenants of the Agile Manifesto
Enjoys working in a highly collaborative team environment with much technical discussion and open debate
Evidence of being innovative and self-motivated
Proven ability to understand and communicate extremely complex designs and systems
Demonstrated ability to learn and wisely apply new platforms and technologies
Experience with distributed architectures and design patterns strongly preferred


Skills:


Experience building dynamic web applications that leverage XHTML, JavaScript, MVC, CSS3, jQuery and other web based tools and technologies


Experience with one or more of the following: Ruby, Python, C++, Java, Objective-C


8 or more years of commercial software development experience


2 or more years experience developing server based compute engines, distributed services, or reusable components


4-year college degree in Computer Science or a closely related field, or demonstrable work experience
