Support Technician job in Durham, NC
Adecco Engineering and Technical, a division of the world leader in the recruitment of Engineering and Information Technology professionals, has an immediate opening for an Support Technician for minimum 18-month contract opportunity in Raleigh, NC. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring a ticket system for support of custom web tools. You will be working with a ticketing system to properly support the applications.
Working cases from a case queue, they are anything from questions to potential bug or feature requests with any of our supported tools
Once cases come in, depending on the case type certain actions will need to be performed. For example, if a bug is opened, the L1 Support Engineer would identify this to be a bug and gather the steps necessary to reproduce said bug.
All of the correspondences between customers and the support engineer will be captured within a ticket/case system.
Mastery in problem analysis and root cause analysis
Mastery of articulating steps to accurately recreate complex issues
Experience using issue reporting system such as Redmine
Experience in testing of Service Oriented Architecture applications
Good communication skills—verbal and written
