We have an immediate opening for a Hearing Consultant certified as a Hearing Instrumentation Specialist or a Licensed Audiologist. This is great opportunity with a growing company located in Rochester, New York.
If you are looking for an exciting opportunity where you can make a difference in people’s lives, this is the opening for you. As a Hearing Consultant, you will be responsible for the dispensing of hearing aids in a Retail setting or in a Physician’s office setting. The correct candidate will adhere to all local, state, federal, and company policies, procedures, and regulations.
Duties:
- Conduct interviews with customers to find out their communication problems
- Assess the type and extent of hearing loss
- Fit and evaluate hearing aids per established protocols
- Ensure that all infection control guidelines are met
- Maintain confidentiality of customer, employee, and company information
Requirements:
- Must have active state license or certification
- Be willing to assist with training of apprentice personnel
- Must be able to stand/walk for up to 8 hours per day
