Adecco Medical & Science, a division of the world leader in the recruitment of medical & science professionals, has an immediate opening for an Molecular Diagnostic Tech II on a Direct Hire opportunity with a leading company in Collegeville, Pa.
In this position candidates will be responsible for preparing FISH slides and Cytology slides from voided urine for microscopic examinations. Counts DNA markers on the FISH slide under fluorescent microscopy and provides preliminary count and reports to the Pathologist. Includes, but not limited to, accessioning & grossing of urine specimens, stains & labels specimens, prepares FISH specimen for examination and prepares the slides to enhance visibility under a microscope. Responsible for maintenance & troubleshooting of equipment. Keeps accurate records and work area clean, neat & organized.

BS Degree, Medical Technology or Cytotechnologist degree
ASCP certification required
