QC Lab Analyst needed for Miami, FL!
Prepares special solutions and reagents.
Receives and prepares samples for analytical testing.
Keeps inventory and catalog laboratory samples, raw materials, general supplies and reagents.
Keeps Purchased Material Specifications (PMS) updated as required by Logistics Mgr. and/or QCM.
Responsible for specialized equipment maintenance and cleaning.
Tests in process, raw materials and finished product samples using different equipment(s).
Required to use different equipment such as, (HPLC, GC, FTIR, UV/VIS, Refractometry, Melting Point, percentage Residual Humidity, Disintegration, etc.).
Verifies tests results for raw materials and finished products.
Plan, execute and reports testing results using in-house analytical instrumentation (HPLC, GC, FTIR, AA, UV).
Ensures in-house laboratory capacity and capability is tailored in consideration of market and operational demands.
Provides accurate evaluation and interpretation of data in compliance with all FDA, EPA, OSHA and company regulations and policies.
Assist hands on with routine analysis of samples submitted to the laboratory for testing as part of customer product requirements.
Maintains QC lab equipment in a validated state.
Conducts and communicates results of lab investigations when test results fall outside pre-established specifications (OOS).
Performs routine equipment maintenance.
Performs maintenance of spare parts inventory, calibrations and supervises third party maintenance and repair when necessary.
Gives laboratory/quality control disposition of raw material and finished product.
Establishes good working relation with contract laboratories.
Supports in the development of methods transfer and validation, troubleshooting, cross validation, IQ/OQ protocols.
Supports activities regarding audits of suppliers and contract labs in support of vendor certification program.
Conducts statistical evaluation of the manufacturing and inspection process and training QC staff.
Ensures control of preventive maintenance of lab equipment (IQ/OQ/PQ).
Assures laboratory databases are maintained and accurate.
Ensures control of laboratory documentation (Raw Material COA, testing instructions, testing results, finished product COA).

Three or more years in related field.
Excellent knowledge of general laboratory instrumentation, such as HPLC, GC, UV, and FTIR and others.
Good understanding of cGMP.
Excellent knowledge of Windows, Word and Excel.
Able to effectively communicate in English written and oral.
Good analytical and observation skills.
Good knowledge of basic mathematical skills, including measurement.
Able to multi-task.
Able to follow routine verbal and/or written instructions.
Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Bachelor Degree in science, preferably in Chemistry.
3 month contract to hire opportunity
Pay - $18.50/hr
