Job description

A local leading organization is currently seeking experienced Mold Tech - Maintenance Technician - Injection Mold Technician - Tooling Technician in Columbus for a Full-Time opportunity. Maintenance Technician - Mold Technician positions require candidates to be responsible for the support of production and process operations in order to maximize equipment up time. ***This position may require experience or knowledge in the following:
• Set and remove molds from machines as directed and specified in mold set schedule
• Ensure proper set up and utilization of knock outs, core sets, nozzle tips, water lines, die heater, and chiller
• Responsible for the proper set-up of all molds and related functions such as watering of the mold, knockout, hot runner set-up, hydraulics, pneumatics, etc. for injection molding machines
• Ensure proper use of mold and machine set up sheet
• Ensure proper transportation and storage location of molds

Preventative Maintenance Experience
• 2 years general Maintenance Experience
• 2 years electrical experience or equivalent
• Must know how to run grinder, lathes, milling machines, and repair.
• High School Diploma OR GED

The tasks of the job consist of but are not limited to:
• Trouble shoot and diagnose various processing and packaging equipment to determine nature and extent repairs or alterations required
• Complete preventative maintenance assignments
• Serve as an operations partner in repairing, troubleshooting, and maintenance
• Support production needs by maintaining injection molding
• Working with overhead crane or fork-truck (must have prior experience)
• Accurately document activities and communicate with previous and following shifts

Pay is dependent upon experience.
