A cutting edge organization is currently seeking experienced Surface Mount Technicians for their growing organization.
These positions require the ability to set up and run all electronic assembly equipment including SMT Machines. Candidates must have experience with surface mount assembly and a key eye for detail. If you meet the qualifications listed below – Apply Now!
Responsibilities for SMT roles include but are not limited to:
• Basic to complex assembly, soldering using keen eye sight
• Use of a inspection and trouble shooting techniques.
• Will require production line testing to ensure proper product quality
• Report defective material or questionable condition to department supervisor
• Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor
Candidates must meet the following requirements for consideration:
• High school diploma or GED
• Associates/Technical degree highly preferred
• IPC certification a plus
• Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions
• Good hand/eye coordination and fine motor skills performing repetitive motions
• Able to work independently and with others
• Able to stand for prolonged periods
• Must work well with others in team environment
Current openings are on second shift (Monday - Friday from 3:00PM - 11:05PM) but candidates for all shifts will be considered.
Pay for these positions varies based on experience.
