A local leading organization is currently seeking an experienced Claims Analyst in Chicago for a long-term temporary opportunity. Claims Analyst's perform routine functions such as assisting the Risk Manager in the implementation of casualty claims programs. Claims Analyst is responsible for administration of claims management programs and processes, communication of programs to business units, and departmental accounting. Responsibilities for Claims Analyst include but are not limited to the following:
• Manage workers compensation, claims reporting, investigation and disposition
• Manage reporting, investigation and disposition
• Serve as a resource to defense attorneys and employees in litigation process
• Prepare and coordinate responses to litigation discovery
• Conduct research and other activities for legal defense matters
• Attend trials or claims mediations, as warranted
• Coordinate and attend business unit claims reviews
• Approve reserves and payment of casualty losses
• Serve as a resource to business units and management with a focus on cost containment
At least 10 years experience with workers compensation adjusting
Minimum 5-10 years of experience
