Premier Steel Manufacturer is accepting applications for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician.
Responsible for assuring that the facility's electrical and control systems. Duties will include but not limited to inspection, calibration, preventative maintenace, troubleshootng and repair of electrical instrumentation control, pneumatic and hydraulic actuators as well as switchgear, motors and other electrical equipment. Knowledge in motors, digital and analog electronics, schematics, print reading and control circuits, AC/DC theory and electrical maintenance, computers/PLC and test instruments, power supplies, power distribution and construction/installation, and mechanical and hand/power tools as it relates to manufacturing equipment is preferred. Familiarity with Allen Bradley PLCs, Siemens Simadyn D and S7 PLCs, Pomni grinders, Siemens drives and motors is a plus.
Successful candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent, have working knowledge in the areas of electrical and/or mechanical maintenance, be comfortable working in heat and at elevated heights, be highly motivated and organized, show initiative, be willing to work 12-hour rotating shifts, have excellent communication & interpersonal skills and have an interest in learning new skills. Also preferred is a proficiency in CMMS systems. Crane maintenance is a plus.
