Project Supervisor / Client Manager – Hartford, CT
$40K - $60K (Base + Commission)

Our client is a fast growing commercial services company that has been in business for more than 20 years. Their current clients range from Fortune 500 companies to Government organizations and everything in between. They provide facility services across CT, RI and MA and are searching for a manager to oversee (onsite) projects as well as manage the client relationship.

This is a vital position to assist in the growth towards their goal of being a national leader in facilities services. This position is full-time, salary and bonus. You will be responsible for all accounts year round and short term contracts (under 3 months) within your assigned region.

The responsibility is to manage the customer relationship, recruit, train and discipline field personnel. In addition, ensure projects comply with contractual obligations, by monitoring performance and inspecting on a routine basis. This position will also help in bringing on board new vendors, and starting new accounts. Success in this position is defined by maintaining the budgets for all locations in order to meet monthly profit goals.

Responsibilities:

Recruit, train, discipline workers at assigned accounts
Meet or come below budgets for each project
Manage relations with customer to ensure contract performance
Manage multiple job budgets
Manage Vendors - Communicate with vendors when issues arise or terminate agreements when necessary, verify invoices from vendors, bring on new vendors
Solicit additional project work from customers as needed, and schedule the project work
Set up new accounts as needed


Requirements:

OSHA10 Certified
1 – 3+ years experience in Post Construction Cleaning
Experience in managing short term projects
Team player with high level of influence and strong management skills, able and willing to be assertive when necessary
Displays leadership characteristics when developing relationships with customers and vendors
Self managed, self motivated work ethic
Obtain/exceed operational target and goals
Results oriented
Ability to develop and maintain long-term relationships
Current track record of successful business development
Entrepreneurial spirit
Persistent
Bi-lingual preferred
Able to use Google Apps
Flexible schedule, including days, evenings, and weekends in a variety of locations in and around Connecticut
