JR. RECRUITER-
Overview:
The Technical Recruiter sources, screens and interviews candidates for technical positions complying with company policy and EEO, ADA and Affirmative Action guidelines. Works with clients, helping them identify job requirements and specifications. May also conduct recruiting assignments for other professional job assignments. Works under minimal supervision.
Responsibilities:
Develops and maintains various recruiting sources for potential applicants to fulfill staffing needs. Develops effective relationship with contacts at local high schools, colleges, job fairs, trade schools to support recruiting efforts.
Recruits qualified candidates via media, networking, web-based job boards.
Interviews prospective candidates ensuring adherence to all federal, state and local laws and regulations (EEOC, ADA, and Affirmative Action) in the prescreening process.
Tests skills, performs reference checks and arranges for requisite background checks where necessary.
Maintains a data bank of qualified associates to ensure that Adecco provides the highest possible quality and service in meeting staffing needs.
Documents telephone job orders by eliciting complete description of work requirements and client specifications.
Prioritizes job orders based on branch policies and knowledge of sales goals and client importance.
Identifies applicant and position match to ensure compatibility and presents client with information on the most qualified candidates.
Ensures that candidates thoroughly understand the duties and responsibilities of the assignment.
Maintains thorough and accurate documentation on all client and temporary employee interactions.
Follows up with client companies who have Adecco temporaries on assignment. Ensures temporary assignments are accurate by obtaining detailed requirements from the client. Conducts prospect and client tours of the Adecco facility.
Discusses Adecco programs and operational procedures.
Makes customer calls to assigned accounts to communicate new services, resolve problems and assist in planning for staffing requirements.
Makes cold calls to generate business and provide awareness of Adecco’s products and services. Prepares and conducts formal presentations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent plus six months or more experience as a Recruiter generally required. Recruiting experience in high tech industry preferred.
Thorough knowledge of Adecco technical job descriptions.
Excellent PC Skills, proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Office with a general understanding of PC operations and applications. Internet recruiting experience preferred.
Broad knowledge and understanding of labor and employment laws.
Capable of handling multiple tasks/ problems simultaneously; meet deadlines; set priorities; continuously improve processes and procedures.
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships and networks. Must be able to travel extensively within region.
Excellent problem solving, oral/written communication in one-on-one and group situations, organizational, interpersonal and motivational skills; the ability to interface with all levels of staff and management also required.
