Adecco Engineering and Technical, a division of the world leader in the recruitment of engineering and information technology professionals, has an immediate opening for an on a contract opportunity with a leading company in Orchard Park, NY.


Recruiter / HR Professional
*Individual must have 3-5 years of manufacturing recruitment experience
*Bachelors Degree in Human Resources or a Business-Related Field
*Working knowledge of the suite of Microsoft products, Oracle and experience with a HRIS package is required
*Candidate needs experience working with basic contracts for work with agencies and recruiters

Key responsibilities are:


Responsible for recruiting regular and non-employee contracting employees for the organization in all areas.
Review applicants to evaluate that they meet minimum position requirements.
Conduct prescreening interviews and make recommendations to the selection team for personal interviews.
Initiate thorough background checks on all potential employees.
Maintain all pertinent applicant and interview data in the HRIS and Applicant Tracker for Affirmative Action and EEO1 reporting purposes.
Coordinate college recruiting initiatives, career fairs, and develop working relationships with colleges, NYSDOL, and minority organizations to access qualified candidates for open positions.
Manage the use of recruiters, if applicable.
Coordinate relationship with agencies to secure Non-Employee Contractors and ensure that they are properly compensated and evaluated .
Conduct orientation for Non-Employee Contractors.
Prepare documentation for correspondence to non-selected candidates.
Responsible for ensuring that Environmental, Health, and Safety are included as part of every day activities.
