We are excited to announce that the winner of our 2013 Best Admin Lunch Contest is Lou Labelle, HR Project Coordinator, Spring Lake, Michigan.

As a human resources project coordinator at Herman Miller, Inc., Lou plays an instrumental part in the success of her organization by supporting a four-person human resources team. Thanks to her hard work, drive, energy and passion, she has also emerged as the go-to person for everyone in her company – from the 130 corporate employees to the 750 manufacturing professionals out in the field.

In addition to making a strong impact within the company, Lou is making a big impact outside of it, too. She leads the organization’s community giving initiative, which helps raise money, goods and other donations for different charitable organizations. She has organized clothing drives, toy drives and other fundraising events, and she regularly volunteers her own time – hours upon hours – to the charities.

Here’s what her manager had to say:
