Are Millennials Moving to the Right Cities?

67% of Millennials we surveyed said they would move for "job opportunities." But are they making the right moves?

Los Angeles, CA

The City of Angels is Millennial heaven. 16% of our students would move here or NY after graduation.

New York, NY

The Big Apple dominated. 16% of students would move here after graduation.

Atlanta, GA

The largest city in the South is culturally attractive to 6% of our respondents, but has an unemployment rate well above the national average.

Chicago, IL

7% of our respondents would move to Chicago. With an unemployment rate of 6.5%, they may want to look elsewhere.

San Francisco, CA

Sunny San Fran’s cost of living is climbing. Since 43% of our respondents would move to avoid high costs of living, I wouldn’t expect to see the 6% of people who “liked” it moving here. .

Denver, CO

With 6% of respondents favoriting it, Millennials love Denver. It also has the opportunity to keep them there. If you are young and looking to move, look no further.

Seattle, WA

It seems Millennial men want to live here more than women (8% v.s. 3%). Ladies might want to take another look. Seattle has jobs in booming industries and is in a beautiful locale.
