Advice for getting a warehouse job.

We’ll work with you every step of the way, but here’s some general advice: You need to be proactive. Don’t just find and apply to one job that you like; find and apply to quite a few that you like. And before you do, make sure your resume is well written and covers all of your experience.

You should also prepare for the in-person part of this deal. Meaning double check you have the appropriate clothes. Make sure all your paperwork is filled out. Practice interview questions with a friend. It’s better to be over prepared than under prepared!

Speaking of interview questions, practice these.

  1. Why are you looking for a new job?
  2. Why does our company appeal to you?
  3. Are you comfortable in a fast-paced environment?
  4. Tell us about your previous warehouse experience.
  5. Tell us about a problem at work and how you fixed it.

Employers: Make your warehouse run like a well-oiled machine

It all starts in your warehouse. A distributor or end user places an order and your warehouse starts buzzing with the sounds of voices, forklifts and loading dock doors. Then you hope your training and protocols make for a safe, efficient environment. Of course, that takes a heck of a team—one we can help you assemble.
