Adecco is currently assisting a local client in their search to fill a 1st Shift Intake Operator job in Kearny, NE.  This is a temporary to hire opportunity. As a 1st Shift Intake Operator you will be responsible for loading and unloading of liquid tanker in an efficient and productive manner. Apply Now if you meet the qualifications listed below!


Shift: 1st (8am-4pm)

Pay Rate: $12.00/HR


Responsibilities for this 1st Shift Intake Operator job include:


1.            Review previous shift paperwork and follow the set production schedules closely.

2.            Monitor, plan and track all incoming product for upcoming production runs.

3.            Communicate with all departmental operators to efficiently manage silo space and production schedules. Any issues should be reported to your shift lead or supervisor/manager in a timely manner.

4.            Pull liquid samples prior to unloading trucks and test for pH, temperature and NIR Analysis. If product is out of specification, notify Shift Lead/Supervisor/Manager immediately.

5.            Monitor receiving bay, and silo areas for leaking gaskets, airlines, and pump seals, reporting and deficiencies to Maintenance or Shift Lead/Supervisor.

6.            Able to trace product lines and track the locations of all products being transferred.

7.            Maintain proper documentation for production Runs and CIP’s.

8.            Maintain a clean and organized area.

9.            Maintain daily sanitation schedule.

10.          Maintain clean silos, lines and documentation for these.

11.          Follow GMP guidelines and be Safety oriented.

12.          Apply knowledge of the NIR and with the corresponding documentation.

13.          Monitor silo allies and report any deficiencies to shift lead/supervisor.

14.          Certified to drive company forklift.

15.          Must be able to perform state required testing.

16.          Assist with plant audits as needed.




1.            Take personal responsibility to engage in plant and food safety practices to prevent hazards that cause foodborne illness or injury and provide a clean, safe work environment and quality products.

2.            Qualified and trained individual will provide as a back-up in the event of an absence of another employee.

3.            Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

4.            Perform special projects and other responsibilities as needed. 

5.            Duties, responsibilities and activities may change at any time with or without notice.



Physical Demands:

1.            Light Heavy Work - Lifting 50 pounds maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 30 pounds.

2.            Frequently required to stand, walk, use hands, and reach with hands and arms. Occasionally required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Preferred Experience/Qualifications:                      

Previous machine operator experience or equivalent skills preferred.  Strong mechanical aptitude. Licensed forklift operator or willingness to learn.



Work Environment: Production - Exposure to manufacturing environment. Require frequent moving and climbing. Frequent exertion of light to moderate physical effort. Exposure to noise, odor, dust and discharge from production process.
