DESCRIPTION

Responsible for importing, cleansing, validating and analyzing data

with the purpose of understanding or drawing conclusions from the data. May

consolidate and/or present data in charts, graphs, or tables. Focused on improving

data quality. Works with moderate work direction and is skilled and knowledgeable to

the position. This position would typically include senior Data Analyst with extensive

prior experience. Generally, has ability to work with other departments and

management to determine organizational goals, pinpoint trends, correlations and

patterns in complicated data sets. Able to provide supervision, training and mentoring

to junior analysts within the department.

 

 

SPECIFIC JOB REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS

  • Must be proficient in SAP (R3), Data Warehouse, OneNote and SharePoint Would be helpful to have knowledge of purchase orders/invoice, journal voucher process and WebCAT Learning Management System, but willing to train
  • This position, requires detailed knowledge across a wide variety of skills including the following: SAP (multiple environments), purchasing payroll, Data Warehouse, Excel, SharePoint, OneNote and several other applications
  • Our specific group is the resource group for EMRE Engineering and FPO and we need someone that has the knowledge and background that can step in and start answering questions and working immediately
  • Strong analytical, verbal and written communication skills
  • Report generation and data analysis
  • Proficient in MS Office.

 

SCOPE OF WORK

  • Enter data in multiple SAP systems and generate monthly reports (e.g. time reporting, billing, etc)
  • Update SharePoint site with updated data and graphics
  • Identify gaps and ensure compliance with Business Controls requirements
  • Process and handle sensitive information which requires confidentiality
  • Create/Remove and verify data in business specific computer programs
  • Create external personnel numbers for loans and contractors (99#s)
  • Manage Purchase Order requisition process and process invoices approvals by facilitating payment through SAP
  • Move charges between company codes/cost centers via Journal Vouchers (intra-EMRE and inter-company)
  • Update cost stewardship report with Data Warehouse Technical Training Group
  • Provide support for Technical Training programs/work processes, including WebCAT LMS administration, and general administrative support
  • Consolidate Tech. & Commercial Leadership (TCL) EMRE and Corporate nomination tracking system
  • Update Targeted Knowledge Transfer (TKT) SharePoint team SharePoint Site with
  • team documents
  • Confirm set-up for courses (instructors, documentation, classroom, catering, etc.), specifically for the Basic Engineer Training course
  • Grant attendance credits in WebCAT
  • Manage and respond to inquiries/requests through shared mailbox(s)
  • Interact with employees at all levels of the organization, including Section Heads and Division Managers
  • Transition Desk Procedures Manual for both BSG and TTG from multiple systems to one – OneNote for each group
  • Other duties as required/requested
