2nd Machine Operator

We are currently recruiting for 2nd shift machine operators to work in the Wyoming area. These positions will require working overtime, 10 - 12 hours shifts and 6 days a week. You will be required to work Saturday or Sunday of each week until notified otherwise .

Job Description:
  • Operates various automated machines to manufacture welded assemblies.
  • Performs repetitive operations of loading and unloading component parts.
  • Performs first piece set-up approval per documented instructions in conjunction with the line set-up personnel.
  • Performs quality inspections at defined intervals using prescribed methods.
  • Records results of inspections on operation specific Operator Control Record (OCR). Work is subject to in-process and final inspection audits by quality personnel.
  • Recognizes broken, worn, loose tooling, machine malfunctions, and dimensional deviations, referring problems to supervisor. Required to keep production tooling/fixtures clean.
  • Uses various small hand tools, such as hammers, files, and de-burr tools as a repair process, as required.
  • Under close supervision, detailed instructions and guidance provided in new work, variations, and operating difficulties.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.
  • Ensure all equipment and the work areas are cleaned daily and free of safety hazards.
  • Run at established efficiency standards consistent with current process documentation.
  • Identifies production material status using in-process, scrap, re-work, OK-to-Ship, and pull tags per documented procedures.

6 months of machine operation experience
