Maintain a safe working environment while assisting in the cleaning, sanitizing and set- up of the lines or areas of responsibility


- Performs all activities listed on step up cards in current level and all levels below.

- Safety: Understand and comply with safe work practices and procedures so as to create and maintain a safe working environment.     

- Quality: Understands and complies with all Nestlé and USDA quality procedures and regulations to ensure we provide safe and top quality product to consumers.

- Trains peers in work area according to SSOP

- Coaches others to take on cross-functional training opportunities.

- Measures the effectiveness of his/her training and implements improvements as needed.

- Focuses on building customer service capabilities on team.

- Responsible for the accurate and timely completion of sanitation paperwork: to include, Master Sanitation, Pre-Op, Titrations and other paperwork that might be assigned to their work areas.

- Responsible for utilizing the Work Order process in order to correct mechanical and/or environmental deficiencies.

- Responsible for learning and becoming ¿tech release¿ in their area of responsibility.

- Responsible for identifying scheduling conflicts, allergens, USDA line items and other line requirements on a daily basis in order to avoid any deficiencies.

- Responsible for training and coaching associates on their areas of influence on LOTO, GMP¿s, proper cleaning. Methods and procedures, safe chemical handling, the buddy system and other procedures related to the job.

- Responsible for inspecting assigned areas for cleaning deficiency and releasing said equipment.

- Actively addresses feedback on their own performance and works to develop themselves in areas of opportunity.

- Utilizes the GROW process to coach peers on their strengths and areas of opportunity.

- Analyses and implements process improvements.

- Performs on the job training and classroom training related to their technical/interpersonal skill area.

- Develops team members using a formal coaching tool such as GROW.

- Performs all other duties as assigned.

- Plans and coordinates staffing, vacations, holidays, and upcoming production needs.

- Perform Shift handoffs, and assure appropriate paperwork is completed each shift

- Participate in root cause problem solving activities.

- Assign duties to Advanced, intermediate and basic operators as required.



  • Ability to work overtime and weekends as necessary
  • High School diploma or G.E.D.
  • Basic math skills (adding, subtracting, etc.)
  • Effective communication skills

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to work with sanitation chemicals.

  • Cleaning and Sanitation experience
  • Knowledge in Food Safety
