Adecco is assisting a client in recruiting for an Accounting Assistant position in Carrollton, KY.  This position is a long-term assignment with the possibility of full-time employment in the future.

As an Accounting Assistant, the company requires candidates to maintain customer contact, send billing statements/invoices, update required reports and create credit or debit memos within a professional environment. If you meet the qualifications listed below – Apply Now!

Responsibilities as an Accounting Assistant include but are not limited to:

  • Maintains customer contact to request payments or information and provide information and assistance as needed
  • Sends customer billing statements, delinquency notices, invoices and other information as needed or requested
  • Responds to internal administrative requests for information and account maintenance support
  • Enters or administers the entry of lockbox, ACH, wire and journal voucher payments, loader file and other information in the accounts receivable, claims and enterprise content management systems on a daily basis
  • Creates credit memos, debit memos, manual trade and non-trade invoices as needed
  • Provides administrative assistance related to obtaining bank and trade references, opening new customer accounts, controlling delinquency and processing claims complies with internal control objectives




Candidates must meet the following requirements to be considered for the position:

· Minimum 2 years’ accounting or bookkeeping experience required

· Be self-motivated, proactive and positive problem solver

· Be a team player with focus on developing internal and external customer relationships while exhibiting a positive attitude and professional demeanor.

· Be organized, detailed and complete tasks in a timely manner

  • Must be proficient with computers and Microsoft Office suite of programs (Outlook, Excel, Work, etc.). Will learn other computer programs.
