W2 Contract: 12 months
Location: Davidson, NC
Pay rate: $28.00 per hour

Job Description:

The Financial Analyst plays a key role in providing analytical and business decision support to drive financial forecasts, operating budgets and strategic goals.

Major Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsible for analyzing financial information and prepare financial reports to determine or maintain record of assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liability, or other financial activities within an organization. Prepare journal entries, reconcile general ledger accounts, month end close responsibilities, expense related processes such as credit cards, taxes, etc. Ad hoc projects and assignments as needed.

Must have:


Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related financial discipline required. (Advanced degree in a financial discipline is preferred.)
2 to 4 years financial and/or accounting experience required.
Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and critical thinking.
Ability to work independently and manage one’s time.
Ability to apply accounting and mathematical principles to work as needed.
Ability to analyze business trends and project future revenues and expenses.
Knowledge of federal, state, and company policies, procedures and regulations as related to accounting.
Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and any other related financial software.
Experience with Hyperion / Oracle R12 would be a plus
