Roles and Responsibilities:
Manage the AP process through review of payment batches and ensure proper job coding
Follow-up on the status of invoices and track payments
Carry out the rapid payment of all vendors and subcontractors
Collect time-sheets and expense reports; thoroughly review and submit through ADP online payroll system
Maintain the accounting filing system
Review and edit all contracts and documents for financial details as needed
Prepare the monthly requisitions through Excel to track employees worked hours, billable expenses as well as consultant's invoices for each contract
Maintain the billing folders for all projects inclusive of expenses, monthly invoices and other documents
Creation of documents, commitments, change orders, and/or purchase orders using SAGE
Report status of contracts, vendors and compliance efforts
Conduct construction related audits through use of control reviews of existing documents
Track compliance with NY State Minority, MWBE and SDVOB goals

4. Financial Reporting

Software & Systems:
Excel, Sage 50 (Peachtree), ADP, Primavera
Need to be advanced in Excel (pivot tables, vlookup, etc.).
Prefer someone with experience in a contract based firm, engineering, construction and/or architecture
