Responsibilities include:
* Operate computers programmed with accounting software to record, store, and analyze information
* Check figures, postings, and documents for correct entry, mathematical accuracy, and proper codes
* Classify, record, and summarize data to compile and keep financial records,
* Debit, credit, and total accounts on computer spreadsheets and databases, using specialized accounting software

This the background we’re looking for in a accounting assistant:
* Associate Degree Preferred but not required
* 2 years experience - not an entry level position
* Accurate Data Entry Skills
* Good Knowledge of Microsoft Excel
* Experience making journal entries is a must!!!
