POSITION: Accounting Assistant/Receivables 3
LOCATION: Pittsburgh, PA
HOURS: 8-5 PM M - F
DURATION: 4-month (contract)
PAY: $19.35/HR

Key Responsibilities:
Day to day responsibilities for this role:

Project Management Accounting

Purchase Order Creation/Maintenance/Governance

Invoice Payments


Manual Conversion work of legacy system PO’s

Creation of POs, invoice payments, project close outs, in order to maintain volume and solve issues and maintain slas

Who will the workers main interaction be with?

Risk and Third Party Management Office (11 total team members)

Job Description:

Compute, classify, and record numerical data to keep financial records complete.


High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate Degree in accounting or related financial discipline a plus.

5 to 7 years financial and/or accounting experience required

Skills and Competencies:

Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and critical thinking.

Ability to work independently and manage one’s time.

Ability to apply accounting and mathematical principles to work as needed.

Knowledge of legal and company policies, procedures and regulations as related to accounting.

Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and any other related accounting software

Major Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Classify, record, and summarize numerical and financial data to compile and keep financial records, using journals and ledgers or computers.

Calculate, prepare, and issue bills, invoices, account statements, and other financial statements according to established procedures.

Debit, credit, and total accounts on computer spreadsheets and databases, using specialized accounting software.

Check figures, postings and documents for correct entry, mathematical accuracy, and proper codes.

Perform other duties as assigned
