Adecco is currently assisting a local client in their search for an experienced Accounting Clerk in Costa Mesa, CA. This is a temporary 30 day assignment.  The Accounts Payable Clerk will be responsible for assisting the Accounting Manager with daily and monthly departments need, including end of month closing. Responsibilities for Accounting Clerk /Accounts Payable Clerk include but are not limited to the following:


o             Process high number of invoices daily in ERP System

o             Perform account reconciliation  

o             Code invoices with proper GL code

o             Research customer activity in the ERP System, to include cash receipts, adjustments, GL account coding and posting of cash receipts

o             Process payroll, invoices, month end reports

o             Research vendor disputes and follow up on pending credit memos


Candidates must meet the following Accounting Clerk requirements for consideration:

o             Bachelor Degree preferred

o             2-3 years of experience working with accounts payable preferred

o             Demonstrate efficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel and Word

o             Detail oriented and able to meet tight deadlines


Schedule is Monday thru Thursday 8AM-5PM

Pay for this position is $20/hr plus overtime as needed. This is a temporary to hire opportunity for the right individual.
