Accounting Clerk

Adecco is currently assisting a local client in their search for an experienced Accounting Clerk in Mission Viejo, CA. This could be a temporary to hire opportunity for the right individual. The Accounts Receivable Clerk will be responsible for assisting the Accounting Manager with daily and monthly departments need, including end of month closing. MUST BE PROFICIENT WITH EXCEL. Responsibilities for Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable Clerk include but are not limited to the following:

o Process customer payments in ERP System

o Assist customers with invoicing and payment inquiries

o Reconcile A/R aging report to the general ledger

o Research customer activity in the ERP System, to include cash receipts, adjustments, GL account coding and posting of cash receipts

o Process payroll, invoices, month end reports

o MUST have Customer Chargeback experience

Candidates must meet the following Accounting Clerk requirements for consideration:

o Bachelor Degree preferred

o 2-3 years of experience working with accounts receivable preferred

o Demonstrate efficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel and Word

o Detail oriented and able to meet tight deadlines

Schedule is Monday thru Thursday 7AM-4PM

Pay for this position is $20/hr plus overtime as needed. This is a temporary to hire opportunity for the right individual.
