Adecco is assisting a local client in recruiting a payroll clerk for a 2-month temporary position for their Pontiac, MI location.  As a payroll clerk you will be reporting to the payroll manager, assisting in weekly payroll, and new hire benefit enrollment. Responsibilities for this Accounting Clerk job include:

* Operate computers programmed with accounting software to record, store, and analyze information

* Check figures, postings, and documents for correct entry, mathematical accuracy, and proper codes

* Classify, record, and summarize numerical and financial data to compile and keep financial records, using journals and ledgers or computers

*Complete new employee profiles, payroll, and benefit enrollment


* At least 1 year of Payroll/Accounting experience

* Ability to work in a face-paced environment

* Excellent Oral and Written Skills

* Must has experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook


Pay for this position is $15-$17.50 per hr plus overtime as needed.
