Accounting Clerk

Adecco staffing is currently assisting a local client in recruiting for an Accounting Clerk in Rapid City, SD. Responsibilities for this Accounting Clerk job include:

  • Check figures and documents for correct entry, mathematical accuracy, and proper codes
  • Debit, credit, and total accounts on computer spreadsheets and databases, using specialized accounting software
  • Compile statistical, financial, accounting or auditing reports and tables pertaining to such matters as cash receipts, expenditures, accounts payable and receivable, and profits and losses
  • Reconcile or note and report discrepancies found in records
  • Qualifications:

  • Two years’ experience in accounting
  • Proficient experience with Microsoft Word and Excel is a MUST
  • Ability to communicate with clients through electronic forms including but not limited to email, web searching and data organization
  • Ability to work in a team based environment
