Accounting / HR Admin

Position Overview:
Responsible for day-to-day accounting functions, human resource supervision, office administration support, and company-wide safety program.

Duties and Responsibilities Accounting:

1)Analyze and reconcile General Ledger, perform Journal Entries and necessary adjustments as required.
2)Responsible for reconciliation of company Credit Card Accounts, Bank Accounts and Petty Cash Account.
3)Electronically import bank and credit card transactions daily
4)Administer credit and collections processes per company guidelines.
5)QuickBooks administrator for new users and troubleshooting user issues.
6)Maintain and resolve business licenses, insurances, Workers Compensation issues, environmental and hazardous material rules and regulations.
7)Create and implement a company wide safety program per OSHA guidelines.
8)Process and orientate new employees and process employee terminations following company guidelines.
9)Administer Help Wanted advertising and screen potential applications.
10)Maintain confidential employee files.
11)Generate timekeeping and payroll data reports as requested by management.
12)Administer Employee Benefits
13)Answering phones, handling mail, and front desk reception as needed.
14)Generate reports as requested.

Qualifications:
1)Thorough knowledge of company policies and procedures.
2)Working knowledge of QuickBooks, Excel, Word and Outlook.
3)Very strong mathematical skills.
4)Demonstrate excellent researching skills and attention to detail.
5)Demonstrate good judgement in troubleshooting skills and communication.
6)Work effectively without direct supervision.
7)Work overtime as needed.
