Accounts Payable Administrator

Adecco is assisting a local client in the LaPlace, LA area with their search to fill a temporary Administrative Account Payable position.

This position is responsible for accurately and timely processing AP invoices for payment. 

Job duties include but are not limited to:

  • Review of vendor invoices, including scanning and processing in SAP
  • Review and reconciliation of vendor statements to invoices received
  • Research inquiries from both internal and external customers, responding in a timely manner
  • Updating various AP reports on a daily and weekly basis
  • Covering the walk-up payment window, processing on-demand vendor payments
  • Assist with the preparation of the weekly AP payment run

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • At least 2 years of administrative assistant experience
  • High level of MS Office computer proficiency (Outlook, Excel, Word)
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and appropriate sensitivity to all issues
  • Ability to successfully manage multiple, competing deadlines and priorities simultaneously and with a positive attitude
  • Knowledge of and the ability to use various standardized office equipment such as telephones, computers, fax machines, copiers, etc.
  • Great communication skills
  • Must be able to pass background and drug screenings

Preferred Requirements:

  • SAP knowledge and experience
  • Associates Degree
