Accounts Payable Administrator

Adecco is assisting a local client recruiting for an Accounts Payable Administrator in Rocklin, CA.  This position requires candidates to enter vendor invoices, data entry, issuing Purchase Orders, credit card verification, bank account reconciliation, generating payments within the department’s service guidelines, and electronic file maintenance.  If you meet the qualifications listed below – Apply Now!

Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:

  • Enters vendor/consultant invoices in the accounting software
  • Issues checks and ensures vendors/consultants are paid as per company policy
  • Maintains back up folders
  • Generate checks
  • Enter data into the time/project tracking software
  • Enter data into general ledger through accounting software
  • Pays vendors by monitoring discount opportunities; entering & verifying vendor information; scheduling & preparing checks; issuing and completing purchase orders, tracks lease payments and agreements, invoice, or payment discrepancies and documentation; insuring credit is received for outstanding memos; notifying when stop-payments are required or purchase order amendments.
  • Create and update spreadsheets as necessary
  • Project file maintenance
  • Reconcile various bank accounts
  • Expense reconciliation
  • General administrative duties as needed.
  • Keep all corporate files up-to-date and retrieving records when requested.
  • Act as a reference point for fellow co-workers with usage of the project/time tracking software and be a SME for expense related items.
  • Assist to ensure all payroll records are accurate and timely.

Candidates must meet the following requirements to be considered for this position:

  • At least one year of recent experience in Accounts Payable
  • Proficient with Excel
  • Accounting software experience required, Dynamics Great Plains and Quickbooks preferred
  • Payroll experience a plus
