Accounts Payable Coordinator

Adecco Staffing is assisting a local client in their search for an experienced Accounts Payable Coordinator in Fort Myers, FL. 

  • The position is responsible for processing various types of accounts payable transactions including account setup, posting invoices and reconciling statements.
  • Works with vendors to recoup outstanding debits.
  • Interacts with internal and external customers in responding to inquiries.
  • Timeliness and accuracy of assigned month end reports.
  • Other general accounting/payable functions as assigned.
  • Assist in various special projects.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of 3+ plus years with merchandise account payable or related processing experience
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred
  • Advanced MS Excel skills a must, i.e. VLook Up, Pivot Tables
  • Strong customer service skills; team oriented
  • The ability to work effectively in a high growth environment and a rapidly changing organization
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of internal and external customers in a pleasant, courteous and efficient manner
  • Expertise to work effectively with detailed financial data at a high degree of accuracy
  • Team oriented person who can focus on the details.
  • The ability to deal effectively with tight month end closing process.
