Responsibilities for the Account Payable Administrative Assistant include but are not limited to:

  • Calculate, post business transactions, process invoices, verify financial data for use in maintaining accounts payable records, and provide other clerical support necessary to pay the obligations of the organization
  • Scan and index invoices into system accurately
  • Verify appropriate legal entity and vendor information has been provided
  • Communicate with shipping and receiving department for accurate record of products received and sent
  • Maintain copies of invoices or correspondence necessary for files
  • Execute and perform payment run
  • Investigate and resolve returned or rejected payments
  • Execute reporting responsibilities for monthly accruals, small imbalance clearing, general ledger clearings
  • Support audit requirements and maintain compliance related documents for financial controls

Candidates must meet the following requirements for consideration:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Must have experience with Accounts Payable Duties
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint & Excel
  • Experience with Epicor a plus
