Accounts Payble

Adecco is currently assisting a client in their search to fill a Accounts Payable position in East Setauket. For this position you must be familiar with purchase order systems, which includes a three way match and allocating expenses to jobs. 

Accounts Payable Duties:

  • Maintains subsidiary accounts by verification thru purchase order system, job allocating, and posting transactions.
  • Process weekly vendor payments.
  • Tracking of subcontractor agreements, riders and insurance.
  • Determine taxable sales from nontaxable sales. *
  • Balances subsidiary accounts by reconciling entries. *
  • Prepares account analysis by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends. *
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. 
  • Good communication skills with vendors and project managers required.
  • Microsoft Office experience necessary. Strong Excel required.
  • Timberline helpful, but not necessary.
  • Ability to Analyze Information, Deal with Complexity, Report Research Results, have accurate Data Entry Skills, pays Attention to Details, Maintain Confidentiality and the ability to MultiTask.
