Accounts Receivable Associate

Accounts Receivable Associate – Scranton, PA
12 months (contract)
Monday – Friday 8:30am - 5pm
$14.30 / hr.

Specific Duties

Performing daily reconciliation, resolving problem checks, correcting proofs and making bank deposits
Contacting shippers concerning checks that can't be processed

Additional duties may include processing mail, data entry, typing and processing forms

Candidate must be willing to make 40+ phone calls per day and be able to work in a fast-paced environment

Must Have:

High School Diploma or equivalent

Requires extensive communication with customers via telephone and/or written correspondence to attempt to bring resolution to unpaid accounts

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word is necessary

Prior phone center or collections experience is preferred
