POSITION: Accounts Receivable
LOCATION: Bohemia, NY
HOURS: Full-time, 8:00-5:00pm
DURATION: 3 months, Temporary to Permanent Opportunity!

Accounting Associate Responsibilities:
• Data entry/processes all vendor invoices in a timely manner within established terms and agreements
• Schedules and prepares weekly check run
• Verifies vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements
• Reviews vendor statements and researches/resolves vendor discrepancies
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; will have to interact with managers, clients, and internal customers
• Acts as backup for Accounts Receivable Associate including covering the following responsibilities:
o Data entry/process client invoices, including mailing invoices to client and/or posting to client web portal
o Reconcile daily shipments, billing packets, and inventory receipts to ensure all jobs are billed when completed
o Maintain client job records that contain quote, evidence of customer acceptance, evidence of job completion, and invoice
o Call and/or mail correspondences to clients as necessary in order to update account
• Conducts all activities in a safe and efficient manner
• Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs
• Applies Good Manufacturing Principles in all areas of responsibility
• Demonstrates and drives the company values – Integrity, Intensity, Involvement and Innovation (The Four I’s)

**Will act as a backup Receptionist**

Receptionist Responsibilities:
• Handles incoming calls in a timely and professional manner and directs caller to appropriate Bohemia associate
• Greets visitors and makes a positive first impression
• Sorts and distributes memos, mail, and faxes
• Handles food arrangements for meetings and audits with complete set-up prior to meeting and complete clean-up after meeting
• Orders supplies for Finance & Human Resources
• Develops and modifies new and existing PowerPoint presentations and Excel spreadsheets as needed for meetings
• Distributes conference room schedules
• Updates and maintains Bohemia Employee Phone List
• Assists with car service arrangements as needed by employees or visitors
• Assists Human Resources with special projects and/or events
• Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs

Minimum Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a receptionist or office assistant
• 1+ years of accounts payable experience
• Ability to use automated accounting system
• 2+ years’ experience working with Microsoft Applications such as Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
• 1+ years of administrative experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to analyze and solve problems
• Strong multi-tasking skills
• Strong attention to detail and follow-up
• Strong data entry/ word processing skills
