Acting Leader Network Development Relations San Antonio TX

Adecco is now staffing for a Recruitment Director position for one of our clients. This location is for a medical insurance provider located in downtown San Antonio.

Acting Leader, Network Development & Relations Scope and Purpose of Position--  This position will provide leadership of the Provider Network Development and Provider Relations departments within the company for a defined period. Core responsibilities include but are not limited to; strategic network development, implementation and monitoring of recruitment plans, contracting with, communicating with and retaining a comprehensive network of participating providers to support the needs of the client, current and future customers.

Essential Functions--  Supervise the network development, Key Account Managers, provider recruiting teams and Provider Relations to include selection, training and development, coaching, counseling and performance management. Provider contracting and communication work stream support. Successful strategy development for recruitment initiatives in concert with Sales and Client Management Leadership. Manage day-to day workflow in compliance with health plans, policies, procedures and guidelines. Ensure plan satisfaction with membership access, establish provider recruitment goals and measure performance. Takes responsibility for successful, quality and cost effective network solutions. Provide guidance to cultivate and foster long term provider retention. Manages the provider requests and recruitment projects to ensure deadlines are achieved. Prioritizes workload to achieve successful project deadlines are met, working with the functional business units to re prioritize requests as needed. Provides routine training, development and coaching of the recruitment team with a focus on provider quality, provider pricing, compliance with network requirements, department efficiency and department goals. Assists the team in recruiting, as needed. Provides weekly reporting to all key functional business units on recruitment activities and success. Develops and maintains comprehensive provider recruitment, on boarding and continual education program. Achieves targeted overall network growth and retention goals. Partners to achieve targeted increase utilization of providers using Excel Advantage. Achieves overall provider satisfaction goals. Maintains and leads the Platinum Provider Program.

Education & Experience--  Preferred bachelor's degree in Sales, Business, Health Administration or related field or equivalent combination or experience and education. Five (5) plus years of experience in Healthcare Administration, Managed Care and/or Provider Services preferred. Prior supervisory and provider contracting experience required. Proficient in Microsoft Windows including Excel and Word.
