Actuarial Analyst or Specialist

Adecco Group seeks Actuarial Analyst or Data Management Specialist for our global corporate Financial Services client in Alpharetta GA.


Position: Actuarial Data Management Specialist or Analyst
Pay rate: $22.45 per hour
Length: 6 months W2 contract
Location: Alpharetta GA 30009

This opportunity is responsible for the technical implementation and data management for new pension risk transfer (Closeout) sales. This includes data loading to various systems, provide support to Administration on pricing issues, handle administrative requests and amendment pricing for the existing closeout cases, and responsibility for specific implementation tasks and milestones.

Duties include:

Prepares and reviews pension benefit calculations by reading and interpreting contract language to find allowable options and methods of calculation
Researches contract listings and other records to determine exact defined benefit purchased for annuitant
Troubleshoots mainframe calculations, develop calculation spreadsheets and other miscellaneous calculation tools
Interprets requests and interacts with other departments to obtain needed results, assists with building, testing and moving new products to production
Assists with new sales of Closeout annuity contracts
Work on special projects as assigned

Must Have:

Excellent analytical and mathematical skill set
Able to work effectively independently and as a team player
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Understanding of pension products and operations
Working knowledge of actuarial concepts and calculation methods
Good knowledge of the IRS code, rules and regulations
Able to read and interpret defined benefit defined benefit contract language
Familiar with all types of defined benefit plans
Able to identify and meet customer needs
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel
Requires a high school diploma, or a degree preferred in relevant area


**Must be eligible to work for any employer in the U.S. without sponsorship / NO corp to corp or 3rd party contracting arrangement / Adecco W2 only and not require relocation assistance.
