Project background – what will this contractor role accomplish for the business? They will assist in the printing, postage and mail delivery of appeals determination letters

Will these contractors be sole contributors or part of a team? They will be part of a team

Please describe the team, and any soft skills/cultural considerations for an ideal candidate: They will need to interface with other internal team members some onsite and some remote. No member, provider or client contact.

How will performance be measured? Measurement of productivity will be letters mailed. Attendance very important. Flexibility in daily hours would be ideal.

Specific Duties:
1. Print letters, place into envelops, and place in mailing bin
2. Utilize various mailing methods including certified and overnight mailing when needed.
3. Be able to use correct envelop based on the type and/or size of letter.
4. Document action taken in system.

Must have qualifications/experience:
∙ Minimum 1+ year office work and/or customer service experience required.
∙ Some familiarity with psychiatric and/or medical terminology.
∙ Microsoft Office product proficiency: MS Windows, Word, Excel.
∙ Ability to type at least 40 WPM.
∙ Strong attention to details
∙ Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
∙ Ability to work in a production environment, meeting turnaround times and quality and productivity targets.

Shift Start/End Time: Must be able to work any shift between 9AM-7PM CST.
No attendance exceptions for the first 90 days

Dress Code: Business Casual

∙ Effective typing skills required
∙ Proficient verbal and written communication skills a must
∙ Ability to demonstrate organizational and problem solving skills
∙ Ability to get to and from printer to desk efficiently
