Experienced Shipping Logistics Clerk for large global manufacturer. This position is responsible for the flow of paperwork related to incoming receipts & outgoing orders. This includes the scheduling of trucks, creation of export documentation, and the proper handling of hazardous materials.
Prior experience in traffic or traffic/shipping knowledge is REQUIRED! Must have strong communication skills, be a team player, be detail oriented, have strong organizational and multi-tasking skills and be proficient with PC programs including Microsoft Office, WITS, Tandem & Oracle.
Duties & responsibilities to include but not limited to: LTL (less than truckload shipments), Truckload shipments, UPS and FedEx Small Package shipments, Export Container shipments, Air shipments, Overnight ground shipments and Expedited shipments. Pick/Packing List and Bills of Lading, keep current on D.O.T., Export, IATA, IMDG and experience in Inventory Accuracy by keeping inventory records in WITS, Tandem and Oracle in sync and accurate.
Receiving: Process receiving and RGA paperwork, ensure all incoming material is routed according to instructions on RGA or PO.
Heavy contact with: Customer Service, Shipping & Receiving, Operations/Planning, Production and General Office as well as Traffic.

Candidate must have verifiable experience in Shipping department within a manufacturing environment, this position to be very long term with possibility of hire. Rate of pay to selected candidate is $15.00 per hour + paid PPG recognized Holidays. M/F 8-5 with possibility of early in/late out as required - minimal overtime required
